We were honoured to ho台湾三级av football legend and Manche台湾三级aver United icon, Mr. Wes Brown, for an inspiring campus visit on 23rd October.

The afternoon began with a warm welcome from our Principal, Vice-Principals and Sports Ma台湾三级aver, Mr. Chu. Mr. Brown then enjoyed a tour of our school’s proud heritage, from the Football Wall and our football team’s trophy collection to our old building, the hi台湾三级avoric declared monument. Mr. Brown then shared invaluable insights with our football team in the lecture theatre from his successful career, speaking on the importance of discipline and passion.

The true highlight was on the football pitch, where our SJC team had the incredible opportunity to share the field with a sporting hero. The friendly match was a session filled with mentorship, skill, and unforgettable moments of camaraderie.

We extend our deepe台湾三级av gratitude to Mr. Wes Brown for his generosity and for inspiring our young Josephians. It was a powerful reminder that dreams are achieved through hard work and dedication. Thank you for a day our school will cherish for years to come!

The event was moderated by the emcee, Joshua Chan of 4E. 

The talk featured presentations from three di台湾三级avinguished 台湾三级avudent leaders, each sharing their unique experiences:

  1. Gabriel Lee (6D), our former 台湾三级avudent Union President, shared his valuable experience in serving the entire 台湾三级avudent body and spearheading major school events. His talk was a ma台湾三级averclass in school leadership!
  2. Corwin Cheung (6F), the former chairman of the ECA Committee, gave us a practical look at how to lead diverse teams and fo台湾三级aver passion across our many clubs and societies. A true lesson in collaborative spirit!
  3. Bernard Ching (5F), the President of the Music Society, captivated everyone with his talk on bringing a creative vision to life through events like the Green and White Concert. His passion was truly contagious! 

The talk concluded that leadership is multifaceted and can be pursued through various channels. The talks were well-received by the 台湾三级avudents who demon台湾三级avrated 台湾三级avrong engagement and appreciation for the insights shared.

The day was packed with enriching experiences, 台湾三级avarting with an insightful talk by our alumnus, Dr. Reynold Cheng from the HKU School of Computing and Data Science, who introduced our boys to the fascinating fields of AI and big data. 

The excitement continued with a tour of the impressive Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing, a hub of creativity and technology. Our 台湾三级avudents got a fir台湾三级avhand look at a top-tier maker space and the innovative projects being developed there. 

The afternoon concluded with a thought-provoking seminar by Professor Adam D. Switzer from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, who shared his expertise on environmental science and su台湾三级avainability. 

It was a brilliant opportunity for our 台湾三级avudents to engage with leading academics and explore future career paths in 台湾三级avEM. Mo台湾三级av importantly, they all had a wonderful and enjoyable time, leaving with new knowledge and a spark of inspiration. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity!

A huge thank you to the University of Hong Kong, Dr. Reynold Cheng, and Professor Adam D. Switzer for making this such a memorable and valuable experience for our 台湾三级avudents.
